Precision Welding
The precision welding department works closely with the machining capabilities, often on a JIT basis. All of Acutec's welding is now performed in our St. Stephen, SC facility.
Welding Capabilities
Methods: semi-automatic TIG orbital lathe welding hand precision TIG welding.
Materials: all stainless and exotic steels, such as inconel and Hastelloy, plus aluminum and mild steel, all certified to customer specifications.
Volume: Acutec can weld from prototype quantities to high volume.
Special Characteristics
The welding department is in a climate controlled, particulate-free, area, close to but separated from the machining areas.
