NDT Inspection - NADCAP Non-Destructive Testing (Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant) AS7114 Certified
Acutec has both magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection capabilities. For both capabilities Acutec has two level II inspectors and a level III inspector.
NDT Processes
Magnetic Particle Inspection Acutec uses a Magnaflux Wet Horizontal unit, Model H-700 with 12 ¼ inch inner diameter, 5 turn coil, full wave direct current and a Magnaflux demagnetizing Unit Model SB 911, alternating current. The process is a wet continuous one. Acutec tests and certifies parts to the ASTM E-1444 specification. Liquid Penetrant Inspection Acutec uses Type 1 Fluorescent dye and uses method D, Post Emulsillable Hydrophilic to sensitivity levels 2 and 3.
